When I first met Mr George Eralil I was suffering with considerable nerve pain completely down my right leg. Mr Eralil diagnosed a L4/5 disc prolapse which was confirmed via an MRI scan. It required surgery to resolve which Mr Eralil carried out. Throughout the various phases of diagnosis and treatment Mr Eralil explained every aspect and the options clearly and was very diligent in ensuring I fully understood everything. His diagnosis and treatment was first class and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He has resolved the issue with my continuing nerve pain and made a fundamental difference to my quality of life. This is something Mr Eralil is very modest about, but his knowledge and skill has been truly life changing for me.

In February 2021 I began to have facial pain which over time became severe resulting in a diagnosis of trigeminal neuralgia. Unfortunately all treatment options offered prior to seeing Mr Eralil had no effect with symptoms becoming unmanageable impacting on my quality of life. On first meeting Mr Eralil he made me feel completely at ease offering reassurance giving me time to explain my symptoms and expectations. Following an examination he was able to confirm my diagnosis. He explained my condition and symptoms in terms that could be easily understood, having a better understanding helped with the decisions around treatment options. All treatments options were discussed with realistic outcomes, what would be involved, risks versus benefits and time frames. Mr Eralil offered his professional opinion with regards to each treatment without bias. At no time did I feel rushed throughout any of my consultations. Given time to consider my options I decided to have microvascular decompression surgery at the university Hospital Wales. Mr Eralil was present to offer reassurance not only to me but my family throughtout the whole process from pre OP assessment to discharge. Mr Eralil is very patient focused, kind and gently spoken his passion and dedication is comforting. Since my surgery I have been pain free and enjoying having my life back.

I first met Mr George Eralil June 2019, after he was recommended in pursuing a firm diagnosis, as I was suffering extreme facial pain. After a couple of appointments, MRI scan and a course of medication, Mr Eralil diagnosed Trigeminal Neuralgia, and recommended a procedure called a Micro Vascular Decompression, which Mr Eralil performed. I woke the morning after, with the pain instantly disappeared. The help, professionalism and care I've received from Mr Eralil and his team was second to none and would not have wanted to be treated by anyone else. If you are suffering something similar, then I can highly recommend Mr Eralil.

I met Mr Eralil back in 2017 when he first joined the NHS in Cardiff, and from day one his empathy and compassion have been second to none. I cannot recommend him enough. Mr Eralil still has that human element which a lot of physicians tend to lose. He did not give up on my cause, and helped to stabilise my complex hydrocephalus which I had been suffering from for many years, and also stopped a cerebral bleed at the back of my head .

I saw Mr Eralil in the Spire Cardiff after waiting over a year to be seen on the NHS following an MRI locally (Swansea). Mr Eralil reassured me the MRI was normal and offered me a nerve block for occipital neuralgia that was effective instantly. Dr Eralil saw me to discuss a scan that affected the muscular/nervous system. He was very thorough and detailed when explaining the scan. He assessed me via exercises and then clearly explained my options. I left feeling like I could perhaps get completely well by following his advice. 8 weeks on I have made very good progress in that direction. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Eralil and highly commend him.

I was in alot of pain prior to seeing Mr Eralil He arranged an MRI and after discussion I had surgery quite quickly after. And the issue is now sorted. He was very patient and understanding. His secretary Anna was brilliant and would get back to me really quickly. Nothing was ever too much for her. Between them both I was well looked after.
